Do we?
Do we get fussier with age? I personally think I've been more open minded the older I've gotten but my friend disagrees.

Definitely more open minded and less shallow regarding looks/situations as I get older BUT yes, fussier about certain aspects of relationships and men.

Definitely more flexible and open minded but less tolerant with ugly , neglected men, who just talk about what they want, how they want and of course NOW instead of maybe thinking what they put down on the table before demands...This is NOT your workplace gentlemen....:))))

I've very much become more fussy. But it's not about looks. One line answers, no questions, not moving a conversation forward are an instant turn off for me.
Women who have traded on their good looks their entire lives I've often found to be rather shallow.
Give me a sexually confident woman who is a good conversationalist with a few bumps in the wrong places any day.

I would say no, for me my attitudes have changed, it’s soo much more about the connection with someone over how they look. I want a connection with a good nice person, especially in this hostile polarised world we currently live in. You can be a supermodel but if you’re not a good person then I’ll have zero interest. Of course a physical attraction including finding someone attractive is equally important, but it’s about someone having both qualities.

I think we become more relaxed about others not being 'perfect'... probably via a realisation that we're not exactly 'perfect' ourselves!
Having said that, I think the 'fussier' thing is different depending on whether you're talking about appearance & good looks or personality. I can think of drop dead gorgeous women who've had (at best!) not the greatest personalities, and I find this overall 'package' very unattractive. I'm a lot less tolerant (patient?) with that kind of person.
Equally, I've met ladies with less than 'text book' good looks with great personalities who given the chance I'd bed and have a long-term affair with if I could! Just need to find the Unicorn who's in this latter category who feels similarly about me!! :-)
