Another one here who can't see the appeal of transitioning an affair to the domestic world of snoring together all night and sharing a bathroom in the morning. Domesticity kills desire, that's why most people are on here. Once you introduce that type of 'intimacy' it's surely the end or eroticism? And after all the years of kids in the bed and knees in my back never getting to have a bath or go to the loo alone, I'd rather a bed, bath and t.v remote to myself! 😂

My personal view is that actually sleeping together is more intimate than having sex.

You need a deep connection to stay the night with your IE .. you have to really know each other and be totally comfortable … I spent a few nights with my IE but it was more about spending the time talking/ drinking/eating/watching TV and of course the sex …you have to be-able to have silences and not be concerned and sleep close together …my IE slept on his own every night … whereas I didn’t and he would be a rucksack on my back 😂…plus he twitches and I talk in my sleep…but if I tried to move he would pull me closer 😁…he would get a good nights sleep and I would be like an 🦉..
If you can’t do all of this then it’s easier to spend a couple of hours just having sex 🤪

I may be unusual but I’ve never once wanted to spend the night with an affair. I don’t see the appeal at all!

Personally I wouldn't want anyone else knowing what I was doing, friend or not !!

Only you know what you can get away with at home....... we'd all like to spend the night with an IE, but in reality i wouldn't chance it

Not really sure the best idea is to use your gf as a cover ….you need to have an extremely strong relationship….what happens if you fall out in the future …do you trust her to not reveal your skeletons…these type of affairs can ruin friendships…there is a post on here about a lady that lost her friend because she knew it was happening and her friends husband discovered the affair and asked her about it …you can look this up on another thread ….this is the reality of it ..

I did this a very long time ago and used the excuse "I have had to stay away" a couple of times and it always works. I work for myself and I can book hotels on the account and make plans. Leaving early and arriving back late gives for a good break. Only once did this stretch into a four-day trip.
