I think Exoticorchid has it right.

There has to be more than just sex in the relationship. A friendship has to be there, along with the necessary chemistry.

You are not a fool. You are a guy with sensitivity and feelings, who is not looking to have a quick emotionless robotic fuck in a hotel room twice a month.

Do many people on this site really want that? I certainly cannot imagine why any man would be a member when there are more expedient ways of achieving that.

Looking seriously, sex without at least some degree of friendship, what an awful thought, any male or female can commit the act to please themselves or their partner. I would like to believe that I would never just love em and leave them.

Surely there must be a degree of feeling, even though you acknowledge they will return to a long term partner. I for one am not a machine to be tuned on and off, but hope to please and leave a lasting memory.

Yes I am a bit of a fool, but that's how I am.

Amongst other things, you've got to genuinely LIKE each other if you want a long lasting IE … if it is purely sex without friendship, then it is not going to last long.

Woman are very good at picking things up , I.e.our gut feelings...

I would like to say, throughout my experience with an ie, I was as honest and loyal as possible, however can not say the same for him, as much fun as it was for the build up the lust soon vanished, after endless asks for meets ups only to be given excuses, my flame died , in fact I need a new candle🤣
