I’d say be honest. If you don’t want to be exclusive fine but say so. If that means they choose not to see you then it is what it is.

Depends if you're hoping they're being exclusive with you or ok with them being in touch with multiples too. If you're keeping your options open let them know you're chatting to another so you're all on the same page

I’d keep my options open and see what develops, but I also find it a bit rich being asked to be exclusive on a forum for married people wanting affairs!

Am I being slightly cynical about this post, they both just happened to ask at the same time to be exclusive? Think I will take this with a pinch of salt.

For the OP unless you have met either of this people then keep options open.

Want to lie? lie... but do not be misled by some of the comments below about potential IEs being "unreasonable" in requirements... it is an immature way to think.

You are essentially lying because if they find out they will finish things faster with you than a virgin visiting a prostitute. Get comfortable with that and move on dont become toxic or entitled about your rationale.
