Is it only me that throws caution to the wind and finds a first meet at a hotel soooo hot!

I guess it depends on what you want. My first prority is good sex and only expect more or a connection and repeat if it was good.

There are plenty of hotels up and down the country that will offer their rooms between 9am and 5pm... you'll even find specialist websites where you can book them, and pay on arrival. Google Hotel Dayrooms, for example.

However, I'm with everyone else on here. It is entirely unchivalrous of him to *expect* sex on the first date. If you have long enough, and if you can't keep your hands off each other, then go for it - get a room - but it shouldn't be a given until you've met and talked to each other face-to-face, no decent man will press you for more than that, and besides - if you meet, fancy each other and decide you do want to have sex after all, it makes planning your second date all the more exciting... ;)

Coffee or a bar is always good for a first date..you don't know the OP.
I did that once about 10 years ago but I was lucky I made a great friend and we had a fantastic year..😊

Hotel??!!! For first meet??? Wow..... what if they are not your type? Nothing accounts for a real meeting to know if you truly like each other...


Besides..... safety first?? What if they're an axe murderer???

Seriously? A hotel day room for a first meeting? How insulting to the IE would you like to be, and how unsafe is that as a way of meeting someone who is, after all, a complete stranger. I appreciate the raison d'être of the site, but make an effort!

A very public meet is always my first choice, then maybe a hotel the next time, but absolutely zero pressure on the first date

Always good for a public place - bars are good but being a nan be early! Don't leave your IE waiting and don't ditch out - make your diary tight so it cant move choose the date and time carefully to make sure.
