As a Scottish person, I steer clear of Irn Bru. By the way I see people glugging it down I'm sure it must be laced with crack! 🥴😁

Large glass of a dry white wine. Enough to make it last if things look good,but can also be drunk easily if not.Also enough to calm any nerves but not enough to make one make mistakes

The Slaughtered Lamb was an old cottage in Builth Wells … which I had visited ….the inside was filmed in an old pub in South London….
I met a guy a few years back and we met in a similar pub and we both thought about the famous film

@Enigma - but I think it does have to be Irn Bru Old and Unimproved edition. I buy it when I’m in Scotland - nothing aids recovery after exercise (or, ahem, a nice on the sauce) quite like it. I was flogging across the highlands last year, nothing left in the tank, when I found a pub in the middle of nowhere (it wasn’t called the slaughtered lamb, but it might as well have been). I bought an Irn Bru or two and a haggis sandwich and I was as right as rain!

Actually there were two Irn Bru adverts made featuring the cartoon character “The Snowman”…

What’s interesting is that they were made several years apart…

I love a raspberry or pink Gin with lemonade or when at home pink sugar free lucozade. It is phenomenal !!

It depends on the time of day and the venue. On the rare occasion I drive locally, it would be a coffee or a lemonade with lime, sometimes a Coke Zero/Pepsi Max.
If it was for a meal out in the evening and me travelling by taxi, I might have a gin. I wouldn't drink much alcohol on a first date.
