I like to think of myself as well-dressed, tidy, and someone who takes pride in looking after himself. I’m also upright and caring—I go the extra mile for the people around me, whether it’s my students, colleagues, or friends—and I’ll always try to be a source of support during the toughest times.

I’m Mediterranean, in my early 40s, and fit enough to take on 5000+ metre peaks every winter (yes, that kind of adventure that lands me in amazing places across Asia and Africa). As for the “boring” bits, I juggle a handful of hats in my professional life—mostly as a uni teacher and researcher—but I’ve somehow ended up with my name floating around more publicly than I’d like.

Beyond work, I’m into music—I listen, play a few instruments (lessons still ongoing!), and even sing occasionally (don’t worry, my neighbours are too old to notice). I spend more time than I’d care to admit at garden centres (Oh dear!) and enjoy a good read, retro 70s and 80s sitcoms, and being around fun people who don’t take life too seriously. I like dressing up, being clean-shaven, and while I don’t have tattoos, I don’t mind if you do.

And, you will probably won't find someone with my skills 😎 , when needed!
