First time here!

I’m at that stage in life where I’ve realised I need something (someone!) else in the background of my life. I'm not looking for a wild double life, and I'd like to avoid drama where possible — I just need someone smart, funny, and attractive to sneak away with when we can both manage it.

I’m often described as intelligent, interesting, curious, warm, friendly, and calm. Quietly confident, and a sense of humour that veers dry, dark, and occasionally slightly inappropriate.

I’m 5'10", younger-looking than my years, and keep myself in good nick. I eat well-ish, exercise regularly, and know which fork to use at dinner and which aftershave makes people lean in. Always well-groomed, mostly stubbled, never slobbish.

I run a small engineering business. I like being busy, but I’ll always find time for the right kind of distraction.

My passions (or some of them and, not necessarily in order) are books, vinyl, classic cars, motorsport, music, football, and rugby.

Not married, but in a long-term relationship of almost 25 years that’s become more “comfortable housemates” than “lovers in Paris.” No hard feelings, just… a soft fade. Intimacy is off the radar. Life’s short, so I’m looking for someone to help colour in the margins.
