Had success last time I was on here, but this time completely different, must admit you've got to be thick skinned on here and try not to take things personally. Get a few women on here quite rude . Also been talking to one or two, then next minute you're blocked, which is very strange

Not quite sure if it is the length of the profile but more the content…you have already put yourself in the ‘niche’ box..your previous requirements were you needed ‘a woman to take you full in the mouth ‘ as you are a ‘larger’ guy in the trouser dept and you were quite adamant that they had to give you what you are looking for…in fairness you said you would reciprocate with loving attention and kindness 🙄…..you closed your options in the first place and being more tactful in future might work better for you .

Two top things that seem to have a least got my messages read, even if they got nowhere.

Don't use a standard avatar, use a real picture even if your face is pixelated or cut off the image.

Make the subject line whitty/relevant/a word from their profile if requested etc.

Had a message for a lady yesterday, I pointed out we were 130 miles apart and that's too far even though we appear to be looking for the same thing.

She requests my password to see "If I'm worth travelling for", I oblige

Her response "Definately not worth travelling for!" along with a vomiting emoji - and I was blocked.

I had to laugh. It was just funny.

Trying to please everyone dosen’t work …you will get your head around it much easier if you stop analysing the way things appear to be ….It is what it is

I get that guys have to pay but the system isn’t geared up to be perfect…it misses the messages …it doesn’t send for days …it deletes messages and we all fall through the gaps unfortunately…therefore seeming to ‘miss out ‘
Do we really miss out ????
With a little patience and understanding then you can be successful but it does take work …😁

I had success on here before in a previous guise but this time round I am using the same techniques and having no joy. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve changed or if expectations are different now.

One of the things I find hard to deal with is the lack of feedback, I know ladies say they get a lot of messages but it doesn’t take all that long just to send a reply saying no thank you. When there is just no response or even a blocking you don’t know what you’ve done to deserve it.

I’ve tried a few different versions of my profile. I think if it’s too long no one will read it but if it’s too short then it doesn’t really portray my personality and ultimately I want to meet someone who is attracted to my personality.

I don’t know whether I consider myself ‘niche’ but I like to think but there is something non-standard about me. I’ve been described as an outlier but trying to portray that in a few words is difficult.
