I just can't trust anybody with that kind of information; it could be used against you if a third party fell out with you..

It's also nice that you and your IE are the only two people in the world know your secret.

Agreed, dont involve anybody else and keep it simple, the more elaborate the more likely it is to go wrong. Get to a position you can flex your diary and a simple I'm in the office tomorrow

I definitely wouldn't involve friends, or work colleagues in my alibi when seeing an IE

Far safer to be creative on your own !

I have a bloke called “Committee Meeting” that I have lined up. He’s terribly boring, but I have to go and see him every so often.

He has a friend called “Extraordinary Committee Meeting” who’s also very boring, very long-winded but is useful in emergency short-notice events.

I had one long term affair several years
And the only person who new was the lady I was with lol tell no one as some people can't keep secrets
If no one knows then no one can try and cause trouble which could lead to the break up of your relationship

Remember we are here to have fun and find that elusive partner who wants the same no one else needs to know

All I’m going to say on the matter is this…
Personally I’d keep an affair between myself and the person I’m involved with quite.
Talk to nobody and trust nobody.
Unfortunately others talk.
And it all leads to 💥.
I’ve not experienced the 💥 but I do believe others have/or are suffering the consequences. 😕
