Full disclosure: I am genuinely a much happier person to be around since having an affair. I've laughed harder, and been more playful then I have in the last decade. Thanks IE for helping me let my hair down.

As I maintain, the two most important criteria ( Besides mutual attraction and compatibility of personalities and interests) are realistic logistics and sufficient mutual free time.
Without these, and its not easy at all to find them, its a probable non - starter, or if it does manage to get off the ground initially, its not sustainable.

Its important that you do create a pastime that you can use to validate your time with your IE..it must be believable and if you invite him to join you make sure he has a full diary and the likelihood is he will refuse as he has too much to do...you need to be one step ahead all of the time...its not easy but its doable..
In my case my partner and I were like ships that pass in the night when the kids were younger so I always had a reason to be away and vice versa...in retrospect I created the environment that is needed even before I had an affair..

Glad you are having a good time. But please please remember not to keep your guards down during the good time. Don't think your affair cannot surface... Even if you are 100% careful your partner might not be.
Having a partner who have equal wavelength like you is a jackpot.
